Agus Leman Gunawan

He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics (1981) and a Master of Science in Business Education (1983) from Portland State University, Oregon. He attended The Pacific Rim Bankers Program (PRBP) training in Seattle, USA (1991), and Bank Indonesia Leadership School, Indonesia Banking Development Institute (LPPI) (1994).

He has served as Director since 2012 and was reappointed in 2024 for a term until 2027, based on the Deed of Resolution Statement of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk No. 20 dated 16 May 2024.

He started his professional career as Senior Vice President – Treasury and Financial Products at Chase Manhattan Bank NA Jakarta (1983–1989). He has since held various key positions in multiple companies, including Executive Vice President, Managing Director – Treasury and International Business Area at PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (1989–1998), Senior Vice President Treasury and Global Markets at Rabobank Indonesia (1999–2001), President Director of PT Perdana Warabaka (2002), Director of Finance – Accounting, Finance, and Tax at PT Voksel Cable (2003–2005), Senior Advisor at PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk (2006–2010), President Commissioner of PT Dana Usaha Makmur (2011), and Inclusion Guarantor (2018–January 2026).

In addition, he has also served in several companies, such as PT Dan Swastika Sentosa Tbk (2010–2012), PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources & Technology Tbk (2011–2012), and PT Duta Pertiwi Tbk (2011–2012).
