Our Story
Known as PT Internas Arta Leasing Company, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk was established on 21 October 1982. At the beginning of its establishment, the Company was engaged in financing, then in 1989 changed its name to PT Internas Arta Finance Company, until its shareholders agreed to change its name back to PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk effective 25 February 1995.
In the same year, the Company conducted a shares public offering and listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Through its subsidiaries, the Company provides integrated products and services to individual and corporate customers — spanning insurance, multifinance, banking, securities, fintech, and other financial services — as the financial backbone of Sinar Mas Group.
